Healthy Food



Last week, A1 read the book Vegetable Glue which is about eating vegetables.  After we had discussed the book, we decided to make an omelette using vegetables from our garden.

The Ghost

This week some of the children from A1 have been writing longer stories with two sentences.  Tarik wrote about a rainbow.  This is the first time that Tarik has recorded a story on the blog and he did a great job!

What is happening?

Over the last two days, there has been a lot of digging and hammering outside B Block.  A1 is watching very carefully and will keep you posted.  What do you think is being built? 

My Brother

This week A1 has been writing stories about our families.  Watch the story that Bonnie wrote about her brother.

The Bears Come to School

Tihei wrote a story about what he did with his bear on the day of the Teddy Bear's picnic. This is the first time Tihei has recorded a story for the blog and he did a great job!

Making Gingerbread Men
Last week A1 read one of our favourite books The Gingerbread Man and on Friday we made gingerbread men. We had to be very careful to shut the doors and the windows so that they did not run away.
